Edna was born on January 18, 1951 to parents Nicanor Licup and Adelaida Jose. She had six sisters and one brother. Edna graduated from University of the East with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Edna joined the United States Navy on November 24, 1977 and retired honorably. She married Rodrigo L. Amadora on February 12, 1978 in Manila, Philippines and together they had one daughter, Liza Marie Amadora.
Edna’s hobbies included writing letters to people she loved and cared for and reading books and magazines. She also loved to spend time with her family and was a very good home decorator often saying, “My home is my sanctuary”
She was quietly active in religious prayers and activities at Church of the Most Precious Blood in Chula Vista, California.
Edna passed away on December 6, 2015. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, homemaker, child of God, and a very generous, compassionate human being.
