

Elena C. Agudo, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A smart and accomplished business woman. After completing six years of elementary education, she decided to stop pursuing her education to help raise her brothers and sisters. Elena loved to help others. She was widely known in her hometown for her charitable acts of kindness and unconditional friendship. An ordinary woman with extraordinary accomplishments. She is the eldest of 8 siblings. Elena migrated to the US in 1985, first settling in Guam with her daughter Malou and family. She then moved to San Diego, CA joining her daughter Carlota. Elena lived with Carlota until her passing on Nov. 10, 6 months short of her 90th birthday.
Elena and Vicente raised six children with strong Christian values and the fear of God. With the grace of God and her hard work, she was able to send all her children to school to complete their educational goals. She also extended her help and support to her brothers, sisters, relatives, neighbors and friends. Elena never passed the opportunity to lend a helping hand.
Elena loved to cook making her specialties for her family. Some of her favorites to prepare were menudo, pancit, bopis, and adobo. Aside from cooking, Elena enjoyed watching the Filipino channel teleseryes. Every Sunday, she made it a priority to go to mass, whether going to church or watching and joining the television program. Elena was also an avid sports fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, the San Diego Padres, and the Chargers. She also loved watching dance and singing competition shows.
Elena is survived by her 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving and generous person. Her legacy and strong family values will continue to live on through all the lives she touched in her 89 years of life.
