Florence was born in the Philippines to parents’ Florentino and Sabina Corpuz, a fourth among brother and sisters. Florence attended a local school.
Florence started her career as an exchange student in Houston, Texas. Then move to Canada and continued her profession there.
Florence decided in
1975 to move to California to start a new chapter of her life. Five years later, her friend Rita introduced her to her future husband Jaime P Tan.
Florence was a devoted mother to her children, Jaifree James Tan, deceased, Jaineflor Jocye Tan, Jayree James Tan her pride and joy. She always said that their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided.
Florence took special joy in mentioning her children’s activities and accomplishments from school or any activities they participated in.
Florence was preceded in death by her eldest son. Florence leaves her memory as a loving wife, Mother, Auntie, Friend, and support system of love for all the lives she touched on this earth.
