On Sunday, March 20, 2022, at a Kaiser Hospital in Ontario, California, the world lost an excellent person whose well-lived life of 80 years deserves a celebration. Francisco Agadier Asio was born on October 4, 1941 in San Narciso, Zambales in the Philippines to Pedro Niedo Asio and Sabina Agadier Asio. He was their first child who miraculously survived after losing a few. He has six brothers and a sister. His sister, at a very young age, preceded him in death.
After high school, he left the farm life in Zambales for the city life in Manila, Philippines. He attended a trade school, where he learned to fix factory machines. As one who was naturally talented at working with his hands, he worked in a textile company and General Motors of the Philippines. He joined the U.S. Navy on March 4, 1964. After 21 years, he retired from the U.S. Navy on March of 1985. He proudly served the United States. Two years after his retirement, he started working in 1987 for Sweetwater Union High School District. He was assigned to work at Granger Junior High School. After 27 years, he retired for the second time in 2014.
He met his wife, Edith from Laoac, Pangasinan, on 1968. They were married on April 27, 1969. They were married for almost 53 years. They have four children. Their names are Frances-ann, Florence, Evangeline, and, their one and only son, Frankie. They have five grandchildren. Francine, the first one, preceded him in death. The other grandchildren are Tyler-Frank, Emily-Joy, Reuben, and Tres.
Francisco was a very loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend, father-in-law, co-worker, and church member. All people who encountered him can testify about the admirable life that he lived. He loved to tell stories about his rich experiences in life. He was a man whose life has been deeply enriched by his experiences. In the end, his experiences made him wise, insightful, understanding, caring, courageous, sophisticatedly instinctive, sensible, thoughtful, and kindhearted.
A visitation for Francisco will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Magnolia Room at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
