Genevieve Marie Barron

Genevieve (Gigi) Barron, age 26, passed away on February 1st, 2025. She was a sweet and wonderful young lady. A beloved daughter to Nora Torres-Barron and John Barron. A lovely sister to Annalise Barron (23) and Natalie Mayra Rios (37). At birth, Genevieve was a miracle baby born at 26 weeks gestation (14 weeks early) and weighed an amazing 1 pound 13 ounces. She endured many tribulations due to being a preemie.

Genevieve faced intellectual disabilities and developmental delays, but these challenges never hindered her vibrant personality. She had a deep love for arts and crafts, as well as completing puzzles.

Genevieve enjoyed collecting figurines and DVDs, often watching her favorite movies, including Harry Potter, Disney classics, and horror films. Her favorite villain was Chucky from Child's Play.

Genevieve is survived by her “Ohana”, Grandmother Maria Guadalupe Bogarin, Aunts Margaret Smyth, Virginia Torres, Mary Ann Torres-Sherwood, Chu-Chu Mohammadi, Rosalinda Espino, & Shirley Tanate.

Uncles Richard Torres, Nicholas Barron, Louie Tanate & Dan Sherwood, Cousins from the Sherwood Family, Mohammadi Family, the Torres Family & the Bogarin Family. Brother-in-law Micheal Rios. Nephews Elijah & Zachary Rios. Godparents Luis Delgado, Sheri Mc Cauley & Darlene Larson.
