

Harlan Loreto Quiambao was born August 19, 1947 in Manila, Philippines, and rested in peace on October 25, 2010. He was the son of Cordulo Quiambao Sr. and Eugenia D. Loreto. He had seven siblings; Purificacion, Lolita (deceased), Cordulo Jr., Rosalind Trias, Reynaldo, Bernard and Cezar. Immediately after he graduated form Caloocan High School in 1965, he enlisted in the United States Army. On February 13, 1971, he married Edna Espiritu and they spent their lives together for 39 years. He was a loving father to Don (wife, Carolyn) and Lougene (husband, Stacy) and grandfather to Manny, Ekena, Keona, Malia, and Ryken. Harlan honorably served his country during the Vietnam War and was a dedicated employee of the Department of Homeland Security for 29 years. He enjoyed spending his spare time with his grandchildren and tending to his garden. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Harlan will miss his friendship and his sense of humor.
Visitation Services are scheduled for Tuesday, November 2nd, and Wednesday, November 3rd, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m., both at Glen Abbey Mortuary Chapel, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, California. (619) 498-4600
Funeral Service with Military Honors and Homeland Security Funeral Honors will be held on Thursday, November 4th at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, 1245 4th Avenue, Chula Vista, California.
