My condolences to the Roseman family. It has been an honor to have known Mrs Roseman and her husband while I was working at the Chula Vista Public Library, Civic branch.  Both of them have been very dedicated and an example of what volunteerism is .  Their legacy will live on forever.

I will always remember Aunt Joan for kindness and generosity and Love for children and animals.
She really enjoyed seeing Angel’s grandchild. Whenever I talked to her on the phone, she would be gushing telling me how she enjoyed seeing Angel’s grandson.
Most of all I remember when I was just a child and up until I was a teenager, Aunt Joan would always send me a Birthday Card with $5.00 in it. Those early days of my life we didn’t have much money and that $5.00 was a lot to me.
When school came around each year, Aunt Joan & Uncle Frank would send Mom money for school shoes, mom always made sure that we all knew that the new school shoes were provided by Aunt Joan & Uncle Frank.
There were many Christmases where Aunt Joan & Uncle Frank were our “Santa Claus” and provided the money to mom to buy presents, if it was not for them, we would not have had much of a Christmas. All these kind gestures have never left my heart or memories. She was a special person. I am so glad and happy she was in my life and I will miss her.

Your unwavering understanding, affection, and support have been constant pillars throughout my journey, and I will forever cherish the memories we've shared.
The memories of our escapades to Seaworld and the moments spent in your airstreams with you and Grandad are etched in my mind. The simple pleasures, like our visits to Long John Silver's and Anthony's, where you savored salmon and we watched the ducks outside, are memories that I will hold close to my heart. Your affection for my dogs mirrored my own, though you always had a favorite, and she knew it well.
You played a pivotal role in helping me achieve my dream of moving to Alaska, a dream that you embraced and supported wholeheartedly. The love and encouragement you poured into me will forever remain an indelible part of my being. The ache of missing you is a constant companion, yet I eagerly anticipate the day when we'll be reunited by the stream with you, Grandad, and my Dad.

Dear Nana, 
I want to say thank you for all the great memories you’ve brought into my life over the last 30 years. I will cherish all the stories you told of your lifetime memories. I’ll never forget the story of how you and grandad met and how you traveled the states in your air streamer. Everytime I see one on the road I think of you and it inspires me to want to camp all over the U.S.A. just like you and grandad did when you were young. 🏕❤️ I will remember the stories of your dad and mom and what it meant to you growing up on Long Island,and the stories of your grandmother in Germany that always came along with many pictures to share. You have inspired me to want to visit the place you were so proud to share with everyone. I will be thinking of you while I’m in Germany this month and I hope you’re around me and enjoying it just as much as I will. I will remember the times you got excited about the animals in your yard from the crows, especially Joey, the little birds, to the stray cats and the beautiful butterflies. You always wanted to make sure the animals were fed and happy. I must have gotten my love for animals from you somewhere down the line and I thank you for that. Thank you for showing me nothing but unconditional love, support and for always being a #1 fan in anything I decided to take on in this life.You are remembered for being the sweet, welcoming and gentle great grandmother. Up until your last few days with us you were so worried about us kids and that we were all taken care of & so sincerely grateful for the people surrounding you. That shows just the kind of person you were, you have the biggest heart filled with so much love to give and one that I will always remember. I will miss your lemon meringue pies, your family tradition Christmas cookies, & our Thursday night spaghetti dinners with grandad and the long conversations we held around the table.
