

Everyone’s life is the sum total of all of the people they have met, the things they have done, the places they have gone. Joselie G. Aquino was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Joselie will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Joselie was born on June 27, 1955 to Jose and Matilde Aquino. Joselie was raised in Makati Philippines. Joselie was raised with Joselita Carreon and Joselina Santiago both his sisters and Joselen and Joseler Aquino….his brothers.
Joselie attended Makati High School and graduated in 1973.
Decedent exchanged wedding vows with Rosalinda M. Serut on January 7, 1984 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Makati, Philippines.
Empathetic and loyal Joselie was committed to making his new family happy.
While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately the same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Joselie was blessed with three children, John Alfred, Ryan Joseph and Jennie Lynn. Joselie did his best to fulfill his children’s needs raising them in a positive and nurturing environment.
How a person performs in the workplace can be a reflection on how they live their life. Fortunately Joselie enjoyed what he did for a living. Joselie was enlisted in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He received a Navy achievement medal, Kuwait Liberation medal, good conduct awards (4), Meritorious Unit Commendation (3), Southwest Asia Service Medal, SGA service Deployment Ribbons (3) and National Defense Service Medal. Joselie also worked for AMSEC as a Lead Teach for 10 years.
Joselie enjoyed his leisure time in horseracing, fishing and his grandkids.
Joselie passed away due to Cancer in the city of Bonita, California. Joselie leaves behind his wife Rosalinda, his sons John and Ryan and Jennie Lynn his daughter along with his grandkids: Hailey Lynn, Joseph Riley, Adrian Rante, Maxwell and Jasmine and many other family members and friends to cherish his memory.
Services for Joselie are being handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 and Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Glen Abbey’s Little Chapel of the Roses, located at Glen Abbey Memorial Park. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Glen Abbey’s Mortuary Chapel.
Joselie will be laid to rest in Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, California on Thursday, April 13, 2017.
Simply stated, Joselie was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives.
He leaves behind the legacy of a loving family, life-long friendships and many cherished memories.
