Leonida Tamondong Doria

May the soul of Leonida Ramirez Tamondong Doria rest in everlasting peace!

Leonida, who was popularly known a...s Lee T. Doria, was surrounded by her family and relatives when she passed peacefully at 5:45am, October 22, 2015 at her palatial home in Stonebridge Estates at Scripps Ranch after a fierce battle against lung cancer.

Lee was born on December 18, 1946 to Felisa Villacorta Ramirez and Jose Tenorio Tamondong in Malued District, Dagupan City, Philippines.

A well-loved and trusted community leader, she was the president of the Dagupan City Club of San Diego, Pangasinan Association of San Diego County, House of the Philippines in Balboa Park, and the Co-General Chairperson of the Annual Miss Philippines of San Diego County Beauty Pageant in the early '90s sponsored by the Philippine-American Community of San Diego County. An experienced and successful business entrepreneur, she was the Broker-Owner of the LT Doria Realty & Mortgage and a Certified Public Accountant in California.

She was survived by her husband, Manny Doria, the Special Assistant to then-US Congressman Bob Filner; her children / in-laws: John-John Doria / Desiree Gutierrez Doria, Andrea Doria Fernandez / Ernest Fernandez, Nancy Doria Bandoy / Jay Bandoy, and Alma Doria Do / Viet Do), and her seven grandchildren: Marvin Doria Fernandez, Amity Doria Fernandez, Enzo Gutierrez Doria, Logan Gutierrez Doria, Athena Doria Bandoy, Orion Doria Bandoy, and Cody Doria Do. She was preceded in death by her second eldest son, Victor Bernard Tamondong Doria.

She was also survived by her siblings: Bernardo Tamondong (Philippines); Alejandro Tamondong (San Diego); Ester Tamondong Manimtim (Los Angeles), Alex Tamondong (San Diego); Imelda Tamondong Nunnery (Kentucky); and Grace Tamondong Manimtim (San Diego).

The viewing of her remains will be held at 5:00PM - 8:00PM, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28th at the LITTLE CHAPEL OF ROSES and 5:00PM - 8:00PM, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30th at the MAIN CHAPEL (Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 BONITA ROAD, BONITA, CA 91902).

The Funeral Mass / Services will be held at 10:00AM - 12:00PM, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31st at the MAIN CHAPEL, Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
