Lupe Ledesma

Lupe Ledesma passed away peacefully at her home in Carlsbad, CA at the age of 98, with a caretaker and family by her side. Our ‘Auntie’ was preceded in death by her loving parents Miguel and Vincenta Ledesma and her siblings, Joe, Mike and Alfred Ledesma. She is survived by her sister Ruth Cardenas and generations of nieces and nephews who love her dearly. Lupe was the family matriarch, hosting the holiday's for decades. She loved to bake, with her many specialties like ‘dirt’ and her special bunny cakes. She was the epitome of the word family. She was kind and gentle, always showering her family with love. Lupe was a pioneer in her work as she was in her life. Her warm demeanor, appreciation of music, independent thinking and thoughtful nature were inspiring. Her legacy will live on through all of those she loved.

A visitation for Guadalupe will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
