AUNTIE LUZ CABATIT-FLORES.... We will always remember your caring, loving & thoughtful ways, your contagious laughter & zeal for life. You were everyone's "go- to" person for everything. Surely, lots of memories were made at your little halo-halo stand in the busy market place in San Felipe. At home, the sweet smell of your cooking & home-baked delicacies & yummies were enough to perk up our hearty appetite. THANK YOU, TIA LUZ...  for all these happy memories. And most of all, THANK YOU for always including all of us in your every prayer & novena. You are now in a better place. May you claim the crown which our Lord has prepared for you. Lola Luz is to be remembered as generous and one of the most genuine person. Herna and I will always cherish the greatest gesture she made on our wedding day back in April  of 2000 as she made one of the best tasting cake we’ve had! Lola Luz you will be greatly missed. As a child, I loved watching her as she built and baked her cakes.  I lived for the summers our family spent with her. She’d sneak me some siopao while she let me stay up and what her do her magic 🤩

The best mornings were waking up to my Grandpa’s sweet voice offering me pan de sal, her famous butter bread, and so many choices of longganisa with eggs in the morning. Grandma would be cooking rice while Grandpa put the breakfast on the table. 

The only thing that changed was when I got into my late twenties and woke up before he did to make us coffee while Grandma tended to her plants in the back yard.  Loved seeing my Grandpa’s surprised look to see me awake because he always let me sleep in as a kid;Grandma loved  walking in to see us bonding with one another. Those are the memories most dearest to my heart ♥️
