Midge, as she was so fondly known by all, graduated high school and went on to excell in beauty school. Midge met the love of her life Loo (Donald Eugene Lewis) in 1959 during a snowstorm in Providence, RI. As with any good love story, they fell madly in love. Loo was in the Navy, so Midge settled into becoming a military wife which she really enjoyed. After several stops and two daughters later (Donna and Kimberly), in 1970 they landed in San Diego, Califonia. Midge was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many. She kept busy by volunteering time at her children's schools and sporting events. She was an amazing cook and loved making large Italian meals for her extended families. She had a welcoming heart to both pets and people alike and took in many strays. She enjoyed playing bingo, bunco, and enjoying morning coffee and conversations with friends. She had a quick wit and wickedly funny sense of humor. Always was a wonderful conversationalist and listener, and was quick to share her valuable advice and opinions to those who asked for it - or not. Midge and Loo are now reunited in heaven and the next chapter of their story is just beginning. Midge was loved by so many and will be missed by us all.
