Marissa Raro Villalon Hawkins, 34 passed away on April 5, 2015 in San Diego, California after a one and a half year fight with breast cancer. Mrs. Hawkins was born to Emilio and Lilia Villalon on November 22, 1980 in Camarines Norte, Philippines. She was the youngest of ten children. She completed two years of college, where she studied computer programing. After completing her studies, she traveled abroad to Japan.
On July 11, 2005 Marissa married Petty Officer Jason Hawkins. They had two children, Jerrell and Katerel. After completion of Jason’s military service, Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins made San Diego their permanent home in September 2008.
Marissa is survived by: her husband and their two children; her parents; her brothers and sister, Aunts, Uncles and cousins; Nieces and Nephews; and many other family members, friends and loved ones.
