God sent Micah to us to bring joy. Our precious baby boy is now safe in the loving arms of Jesus, and he is forever in our hearts.
Micah's life began touching others before he was born. With great anticipation, his siblings dreamt what it would be like to hold him and care for him. They all took turns feeling his kicks and turns and singing to him while he was in "mommy's tummy."
Micah was born so happy and healthy, and he was welcomed into our cozy home by his very enthusiastic big brothers and sisters, who all loved to hold, hug and kiss him. His sweet, peaceful presence brought such joy to each of us!
Micah always loved to sit in the laps of his Mommy and Daddy, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, siblings, and cousins - he loved cozy hugs! Micah was very much an active part of family life; he was there to drop off his brothers and sisters at school every morning and looked forward to picking them up in the afternoon. Micah volunteered his time to help in the 2nd grade classroom at Santa Sophia Academy and met all of his brother Danny's friends and teachers. He enjoyed visiting the office with Mommy before she returned to work, and meeting all of her co-workers. He made many friends in the pews at church during Mass on Sundays at the Mission, and Santa Sophia. He loved "flying" in daddy's arms, and doing the "bottom wiggle" dance for his brothers and sisters. He attended many birthday celebrations for family members, and made an amazing "baby Yoda" alongside his brother Danny as "The Mandalorian" for Halloween. He took his Great-Grandma Ida out on shopping trips and an adventure to Coronado Island. He enjoyed visiting Legoland and exploring Balboa Park and visiting museums with his family. We all cherished celebrating Thanksgiving together.
Micah is a sweetheart, a loving soul who wants to share joy. In his time here with us, he diffused stressful or tense times in the family with his presence in the room, and always was able to lighten the mood with his smile. Now he is smiling down on us from heaven, and we are grateful that he is forever our beloved son and brother. And some day, when the Lord calls us home, we look forward to being reunited with our precious Micah.
