Romeo S. Veniegas

Romeo Siador Veniegas was born February 17, 1942 in the Philippines to parents Reynaldo and Catalina Veniegas. Together with his brothers Julio, Carlos, Francisco and Reynaldo Jr. he was raised in Pangasinan. Together they shared many childhood experiences.

Romeo graduated from Binalonan High School and went on to Far Eastern University. He married Cresencia Alimboyogen Ramirez on July 14, 1968 at Christ the King Church in Quezon City, Philippines. Together they raised four children: Cheryl, Ritche, Romeo Jr. and Cindy. Over time, his family has grown to include 4 grandchildren as well.

Romeo proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and obtained the rank of E6. After he retired from the Navy, he went on to work as a Mail Clerk for 16 years.

During his free time, Romeo enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, gardening, traveling, watching sports and spending time with his family.

Romeo passed way on October 7, 2013 at Scripps Chula Vista Hospital in San Diego, California. He is survived by his wife, Cresencia, his daughter Cheryl, his son Ritche, his son Romeo Jr., his daughter Cindy, his granddaughter Elizabeth, his granddaughter Jasmine, his granddaughter Leila, his grandson Joey, along with his brothers, cousins and numerous friends.

Romeo's funeral service will be held at The Little Chapel of the Roses on Sunday October 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park immediately following the funeral service on Sunday.
