Ronnie Gutierrez Aguirre

Ronnie G. Aguirre, was born on May 31, 1934 in Batangas, Philippines. He later resided in San Diego. At the age of 89 he sadly departed us on March 16, 2024 following an infection and battle with alzheimers/dementia. He is survived by his wife Zennie, his two daughters Marie and Anna, his only son Ronald, and two grandchildren Theoren and Kreyshawn. Ronnie aspired to build a family and live the American dream as he served in the US Navy during the Korean and Vietnam wars, a short stint for the USPS, and his final career as Support Staff for Montgomery High School. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a religious man who enjoyed spiritual conversations, going to church on Sundays and reading the bible. He also enjoyed watching classic SciFi, comedy, westerns, and Filipino programs on the television, preparing big holiday meals or barbecuing. He also enjoyed music and singing although not the best but probably now a superstar singer with his family in the background. Ronnie is loved and will be greatly missed by friends and family.

A visitation for Ronnie will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Magnolia Room, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Chapel of Roses, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A reception will occur Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Orchid Pavilion, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
