Ruth Aliene: Born Oct. 6, 1919 to Nesley and Cora Williams of Toronto, KS. Older sister and younger brother both deceased. Was married to SW “Smitty” Carter for Forty-Nine and Half Years.
Attend one room school house and High School in Toronto, and Beautician school in Kansas. Married SW “Smitty” Carter in 1943, went to Key West, FL, then back to California during the war. Raised three sons: John R., James W., & Jeff S. Carter in LA. Moved to Kansas in 1951, then back to California in 1956.
A member of the Chula Vista Eastern Star Chapter #345, Scottish Rite Woman Association, and a Quilters at the Community Congregation Church in Chula Vista.
Is services by John R., Jeff S. Carter of Chula Vista and James W., & Jenny Carter and Graddaughters Jamie & Jenna of Green Bay, WI.
