Sandra Lee Neese Pincek, age 79, passed away peacefully at Scripps Green Hospital, La Jolla, CA on November 6th, 2024. Sandra was born in Abingdon, VA on November 15th, 1944, to Oscar Lee Neese and Josephine McPherson. She is survived by her spouse William Pincek, daughter Jo Elaine Hunt of Nashville, TN, son William Mark Pincek of Parkland, FL, and brother Elwood "Woody" Neese of Abingdon, VA.
She was a resident of San Diego County for the past 54 years residing in Chula Vista.
Sandra earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from Appalachian State Teachers College in Boone, NC. She was employed by Southern Illinois University as a Program Advisor with their off-campus Aviation Management Degree Program for the military personnel at Naval Air Station North Island for 22 years.
A memorial service will be held at Saint Agnes Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Rosary will begin at 9:30am followed by Mass at 10:00am.
