Thomas P. Guzman

Thomas P. Guzman "Tommy, Tom", age 77, of Chula Vista, California passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021. Thomas was born February 11, 1944 to Jesus "Long" Muna Guzman and Natividad "Daling" Blas Guzman. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Adelaida "Lolly, Laling" Guzman; children Louann Guzman and her spouse Elizabeth Treeheart; Peter Guzman and Melissa Uy and their children Alex Guzman, Rhyan Guzman and Noah Uy; Matthew Guzman and his spouse Rose Guzman and their children Kyrsten Guzman and Gavin Guzman; James Guzman and his spouse Courtney Ford Guzman; his siblings Frances Guzman Benito, Eddie Blas Guzman and his wife Sally, Harry Blas Guzman. He was predeceased by his parents Jesus "Long" Muna Guzman and Natividad "Daling" Blas Guzman; his sister Cecilia Mae Davenport.

Tommy was a decorated veteran who served in the Vietnam war. He earned the rank of Master Chief in the Navy where he was on active duty for 27 years. After retiring from the USS Ranger he worked for the Navy Civil Service for 26 years.

He was the President of the Barrigada San Roke Group from San Diego for 16 years.

A viewing for Thomas will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
