Walter Campugan Embalsado

Walter Embalsado’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death.

Walter went home to Jesus on July 23, 2023 at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with Gastric Cancer,

surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor him by living their lives to the fullest.

Walter was a man who found great joy in the simplest pleasures of life. He loved to spend quiet moments reading his books and traveling to capture the beauty of the world through his passion for photography. It is with great sadness that I share that Walter has passed away. He is survived by his loving wife , Shirley Cua; brothers Dodong, Anton, Manny and Dereck as well as his sisters Charo, Cora , Boots & Joy. He was preceded in death by his father Manolito Embalsado Sr and mother Felipa Embalsado.

Walter was truly a remarkable person who touched the lives of those around him. His kindness and passion for life were an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his legacy will live on through the memories he created with them .

Celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park Magnolia Chapel, 3838 Bonita Rd. Bonita CA 91902. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a committal service at Glen Abbey Memorial Park from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
