Betty Owens

Betty Patricia Owens, 74, passed away January 10, 2017, at her home. She was born March 16, 1942, to Roy Nolan and Anne Ruth Green Nunley. She was a member of Emmanuel United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 12, 2017, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Joshlin and Bro. Wayne Isbell officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles Owens; one son, Nick (B.J.) Owens; two granddaughters, Roxanne (Josh) Melson and Nicole (Jason) Russell; six great-grandchildren, Keaton Melson, Katelyn Melson, Kason Russell, Breanna Russell, Madelyn Russell and C.J. Russell; and a special niece, Betty Leonard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and three brothers.

Pallbearers are Keaton Melson, Chad Owens, Chuck Owens, Jason Kennedy, Chris Johnson, Patrick Johnson, Oscar Joshlin and Junior Michael.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
