Billy Martin Sr.

Billy Martin, Sr., 82, of Bloomington, IN died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Garden Villa Health in Bloomington, IN. He was born August 16, 1930 to Thomas and Lois Brimingham Martin. He was retired from General Electric after 35 years, a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, and of Apostolic Faith.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 27, 2013

at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Eldon McVey and Bro. Roy Joshlin officiating. Burial will be in the Piney Grove Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Nell Yarber Martin; four daughters, Anita June Bledsoe of Dyersburg, TN, Carol Jean Walker and Mary Annette Martin both of Bloomington, IN, and Fran Booker of Baton Rouge, LA; one son, Billy (Christie) Martin, Jr. of Bloomington, IN; one sister, Almer Stevens of Booneville; twelve grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Agnes Coker; one brother, Jesse Martin; and two great grandsons, Henry Isiah Stover and Nathan Allen Martin.

Visitation will be 5-8pm Saturday and until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
