Clyde R. Higgason

Clyde R. Higgason, 90, of Booneville died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He graduated from French Camp Academy and attended the University of Mississippi. He was a WW II Army Veteran, 3rd Degree Master Mason and a retired millwright from Armour Meat Packing Plant in Memphis, TN. He was also a member of East Booneville Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Sunday, January 23, 2011 at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rickey Kelley officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Memorial Park.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Martha Perme of Booneville and Brenda Jones of Memphis, TN; 2 grandchildren, Tom Perme and Michael Higgason; 2 great grandchildren, Calli Rocha and Ian Rocha and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Willie Higgason, his wife, Theda Higgason, 1 son, James Higgason, 5 sisters, Carrie Blackwood, Vada Warner, Lois Coyle, Mavis Allen and Ruth McGuire and 1 granddaughter, Jeanne Gramling.

Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Saturday, January 22, 2011 and until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
