Curtis L. Smith

Curtis L. Smith, 82, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015, at home. He was born July 10, 1933 to Henry and Myrtie Smith. He was a retired head mechanic for Prentiss Mfg and was a member of East Booneville Baptist Church. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 5, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Holcomb and Dr. Steve Howell officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Erline Owens Smith; one daughter, Lori (Brad) Davis of Booneville; one son, Harold (Sonja) Smith of Booneville; one brother, Billy Harold (Saundra) Smith of Booneville; six grandchildren, Kayla Smith, Candace (Adam) Oaks, Courtney (Justin) Swinney, Lisa (Devin) Pace, Summer Warren, and Kyle Smith; and four great grandchildren, Hunter, William, Carter, and Paxton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin infants; two sons, Tony Curtis Smith and Gary Wayne Smith; and one sister, Louise White.

Visitation will be 5-8pm on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at McMillan Funeral Home and until service time on Monday.
