Deborah Elizabeth Harris

Deborah Elizabeth Harris, 69, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born April 30, 1956, to Aaron and Elaine Hopkins. She was a medical secretary, and member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Rickey Green and Bro. Kevin Williams officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude at Memorials Processing, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

She is survived by her husband, J.W. Harris; daughter, Tonya Sanderson; two brothers, Keith (Brenda) Hopkins and Roy (Donna) Post; two sisters, Monica (Rob) Weaver and Diana (Richard) Ianson; nine grandchildren, Thane (Meagan), Kassi (Clint), Ainsley, Nichole (Lee), Kayla, Ashley, Tristan Blake, Jenna (Jeff) and Madison; and a host of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Tim Hopkins and Billy Post.
