Dexter Eugene Taylor

Dexter Eugene Taylor, 82, of Tishomingo passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven, MS. He loved watching television especially westerns and loved spending time with his family.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at McMillan Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Sowden officiating. Burial will be in the East Prentiss Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 20, 2024 at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Flora Taylor; his son Roger Taylor (Lisa); his daughters, Kathy Linden (Tom), and Barbara Buchanan (Mikel); his sister, Ollie Dean Harris; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Bertha Taylor; his daughter, Fonda Sue Brewer; his brothers, James Taylor, Melvin Taylor, Randall Taylor and Vernon Taylor and his sister, Dorothy Smith.

Pallbearers will be Chris Brewer, Josh Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Billy Gene Skaggs, Steven Holland, Drew Taylor, Chance Brewer, Justin McFarlin and Mikel Buchanan.
