Douglas Martin

Douglas Martin, 11, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at his home. He was born July 24, 2000. He was student at Booneville Middle School. He enjoyed playing in the water, the outdoors, the beach and his family. Douglas taught all of those who knew him the purity of joy, happiness and love, and the lessons he taught us will be forever ingrained in our hearts.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Whitley officiating. Burial will be in Forked Oak Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Jennifer Martin and Kevin Ozbirn; two brothers, Julian Martin and Marcel “Trooper” OckmanV; his grandparents, Douglas and Barbara Martin of Booneville and Thomas and Jettie Ozbirn of Tishomingo; two aunts, Anna Martin of Booneville and Elizabeth Winstead of Gulfport; cousins, Johanna Martin and Joscalyn Pringle; and special family members, his step-father, Marcel OckmanIV; step-grandparents, Sharon and Marcel OcmanIII; two aunts, Stacey (Keith) Rabkin and Shana (Chris) Lamey; cousins, Serena Rabkin, Kellyn Rabkin, Danielle Lamey and Maddie Lamey.
