Evelyn Lucille Lancaster

Evelyn Lucille (White) Lancaster, 95, Rienzi passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the MS Care Center in Corinth, MS. She was born on January 8, 1930 to Sam D. and Annie Laura White in Prentiss County. She taught the Young Women’s Sunday School class for many years, was a member of the Hinkle Baptist Church and in later years became a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Homemaker’s Club.

Celebration of life will be on Friday, December 26, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Stacy and Bro. David George officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church on Friday.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Westmoreland (Robbie) of Germantown, Tn; her brother, Doug White (Anita)of Booneville, MS; her grandchildren, Robbie Brian Westmoreland of Houston, TX, Kerry Lynn Westmoreland Leasure (Steve) of Birmingham, AL, Rachel Caroline Westmoreland Blazer (Matt) of Simsbury, CT, Nina Jean Lancaster Jones (Matt) Oxford, MS , and David Matthew Lancaster (Sally) of Killen, AL; 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded by her parents, her first husband, Talma D. Lancaster, her second husband, Lester Clayton Lancaster; her son, David Randal Lancaster; her brothers, Robert L. White, Boliver Eugene White, and William Charles White; and her sisters, Elizabeth White Yancey and Mary Annette White Sumner.

Pallbearers will be Keith Kelly, Brian Kelly, Donnie Lovell, Don Lovell, Charles Lowery, Russell White, Gary White and Gerald Lancaster.

Memorials may be made to the Antioch Cemetery Fund or Gideons International.
