Gary Freed Lee

Gary Freed Lee, 62, died Friday, September 3, 2010 at his home after an extended illness. He was a Christian and attended Meadow Creek United Methodist Church. He loved training and riding horses, hunting, especially coon hunting, and fishing with his good friend Danny Short.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Short and Bro. Jim Hall officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscumbia Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Brown Lee; his mother, Etheleene Lee of Rienzi; four daughters, Susan (Jimmy) Gray of Rienzi, Cherie (Ben) Maldonado of Jumpertown, Chasity Brown and Courtney Presley, both of Rienzi; one son, Gary Brian Lee of Jumpertown; one sister, Janeene (Terry) Barnett of Somerville, TN; seven grandchildren, D.J. (Melissa) Lee, Chandra (J.J.) Hoard, Andrea Gray, Morgan Gray, Mary Elizabeth Lee, Benjamin Maldonado III, and Bailey Lynn “LeeLee” Gann; six great-grandchildren, Riley Hoard, Bryton Lee, Skyler Horton, Ethan Hoard, Makinly Lee and Jaydn Beene; one niece and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Freed Lee.

Pallbearers will be Cody Brown, Ricky Lee, Kenneth Michael, Walter Welch, Tony Fitzsimmons, Bruce Padgett and Danny Lowrey.

Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday and until service time Sunday.
