Helen Wade

Helen Louise Wade, 79, died Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born December 24, 1934, to Ellis and Katie Horn Shackelford. She was a homemaker and also worked for Parker Hannifin for 11 years. She was attended Macky’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

Funeral will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, February 16, 2014, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband Wilburn “Billy” Wade; three sons, Larry (Angela) Wade of Tupelo, Roger (Teresa) Wade and Dennis (Debra) Wade, both of Booneville; two sisters, Jorene (Hubert) Ashmore and Barbara (Billy) Tigrett, both of Booneville; three brothers, William (Helen) Shackelford of Lawrenceburg, TN, Roy Glen Shackelford of Nashville and Carl Ray (Debra) Shackelford of Booneville; five grandchildren, Tyler Wade, Peyton Wade, Justin (Celeste) Wade, Whitney Wade and Allison Wade; and one great-granddaughter, Kaylee Wade.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers are Tyler Wade, Peyton Wade, Justin Wade, William Shackelford, Roy Glen Shackelford and Carl Ray Shackelford.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
