Johnny Bob Cummings, 77, died Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was born March 18, 1933 in Itawamba County to the late William and Bessie Ingram Cummings. He was a U. S. Army veteran of Korea and enjoyed gardening, carpentry, and bluegrass music. He was well-known for his yard decorations at Christmas.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Cartwright, Bro. Lee Dillard and Bro. Dale Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Fugitt Cummings; one daughter, Linda (Billy) Berryman; two sons, Tim (Dianne) Cummings and Tony (Melissa) Cummings; one sister, Katie Lindsey; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathryn Diane Cummings; one son, Steve Cummings; one sister, Janice Nicholson; one brother, Bill Cummings.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
