

Joseph “Joe” Holley, 83, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at his home in the Pisgah Community. He was born December 25, 1931 in Prentiss County. He served his country well in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years. His wife, Jane, journeyed with him along his military career unless he was stationed in a remote location. After returning from the U.S. Air Force, he enjoyed working various jobs and yard work around his home. He attended Pisgah United Methodist Church. He was great at making his closest family and friends laugh. He loved his family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Josh Sheets officiating. Private burial will be in the Pisgah Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, Betty Jane Tice Holley; three brothers, Gearld (Louise) Holley, Dwayne (Vickie) Holley both of Houston, TX and Donnie Holley of Booneville; special family friends, Marvin and Debbie Ozbirn of Pisgah, Nathan Ozbirn and his fiancé Jessica of Pisgah, Brian, Elisha, Matthew, Brandon and Luke Brady Windham of Booneville and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.L. and Estelle Howell Holley; one sister, Evelyn Holley Coggins; one brother-in-law, Bernard Coggins and one sister-in-law, Linda Holley.
Visitation will be from10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Pisgah United Methodist Church or the Pisgah Cemetery Fund.
