Justin was about 8 years old when I came into the family and we have shared a lot of good times and memories.  My first good memory with Justin is when I first started coming around the family - in those days, Hugh, Jacky and Bud initiated you into the family "Perrigo" style and Justin really initiated me!!  The summer he worked for me - Abbie had just been born - I let the boys go on to work - leaving James Ray Plaxico in charge (should have known better) - I had to pay to have a car repainted - not Justin's fault, but me and him have laughed about it a lot over the years.  We all loaded up and went to Talladega (1989) - Jacky, Mary Sue, Justin, Coy, Brock, Anita and me - Mary Sue had order us motel rooms from the internet- it was not good!  The rooms had a odor - Mary Sue and Anita complained - they came and sprayed air fresher - which was the same smell.  Jacky kept getting shocked every time he turned off the bathroom lights.  Anita wouldn't let us touch anything or walk around without shoes and the list goes on.  We were all sitting outside because it was better than inside and we were complaining about the rooms/place and Justin said, "Momma, if you don't mind would you please not get our rooms off the internet any more!" and we all just fell out laughing - he didn't mean it to be as funny as he said it.  I have spent a lot good times with Justin, hanging with family, holidays, the shop, dove hunting, and at Bo's - Justin was always there!  I am really going to miss him, he was one of a kind, and I loved him very much!

I knew he loved me because he always hugged and told me he did.  My mom has always told me when he had his 4-wheeler wreck that he only had two pictures in his billfold - one of them was mine.  Justin told me at Christmas (2017)- I saw that ex that did you wrong - if I would have had enough air I would have whipped his tail - I told him I wished you would have and we laughed.  This was Hunter's first Christmas and Justin said,  "Am I  going to have to try and take care of him?" - I said, "No, I don't think so, but I will let you know if need you to."  He said, "I will, just let me know."  At my birthday  in June 2018 he said, "Is everything still alright with this one (Hunter) or do I need get him?" I said, "No, it is still going good.  Justin said, "Well good, I don't have much air, but if he don't do you right, I take care of him."  I said, Thanks and we hugged.  I know he would have defended me if I needed him to.  We didn't see each other much, but he always had a way of making me feel special when we did see each other and I am really going to miss that and him!! Dear Mary Sue and Jackie,
   As anyone who ever spent time around p and I they know there couldn’t have been two more opposite people.  He was republican and drove fords and I certainly wasn’t either of those.  Many times religion would come up when we were going back and forth with each other and I wanted you to know that his love and belief in his god never faltered. I respected that about him so much. P loved me no matter how different our views and beliefs were and in my opinion that’s what makes a true Christian. You and Jackie raised such lovely, kind young men and that’s not easy in the times we live in. I will miss him everyday. My thoughts will be with the family in the days to come.

Mary Sue, I might have gotten my piercing and tatoo mixed up.  Either way, Justin knew you weren't happy out of love for him..

Psalm 127:3 says, “Children are a blessing and a gift from God,”
And the Lord chose to send our family His very best

Justin Paul, an angel of God no less 

Justin stole our hearts the day he was born
He filled our lives with love, laughter and pride
His funny & mischievous personality 
How we adored that little boy, we could never hide.

He lived his life to the fullest
He was a true friend to all
And always put others first 
Even if he had to take the fall.

Justin wasn’t perfect, but close enough for us
His unconditional love & kindness over shadowed any flaw
He gave so much of himself, expecting nothing in return
Willing to be there whenever anyone would call.

His struggles were more than he deserved
Most would never know the burden he had to bare
Never complaining and always carrying a smile
He battled them all in silence not willing to share.

Justin is an example in the way he loved
He loved his family, friends, and life 
He didn’t need or want for much
His true happiness came when Molly became his wife.

We never dreamt that God’s plan for Justin on earth was so brief
Flooded with memories and regrets of the past 38 years
Unprepared, heartbroken, not wanting to let him go
Never again seeing his sweet face, smile or feeling his hugs brings us to tears

Heaven is a little sweeter because our angel is there
Justin is celebrating his new life, happy, healthy, and free
Reunited with love ones and greeted with opened arms
But forever in our hearts he will always be.

     I was Aunt Neat Neat to him first and he never failed to hug me and say, "I love You Aunt Neat Neat!"  As a child he had such a funny and little mischievous personality and kept us laughing all the time.  As an adult he was still a character, but he was more quiet, reserved, and so much more loving, and he always had his famous little grin!!  I always told him “You’re my Favorite!” and it would tickle him – we loved aggravating Coy!! Our watching Dukes of Hazzard days when I babysat him, he had watched them so many times, he could say the words with Bo and Luke.  However, his kindness and generosity showed through when he wanted to take me (and paid my way) to see Jerry Lawler just because he knew I loved him.   Justin will be in our hearts until we can be reunited with him again.  I Love You Justin Paul,

     There is no words to ease your pain, but take comfort in knowing just how much he loved each of you and he never questioned the love in return.  
     If you ever doubted Justin’s success in life, God showed us where Justin shined – Love!!  I knew Justin was special to us, but my heart is full knowing how much he loved everyone and how he was loved by so many.  We aren’t promised tomorrow and Justin had fulfilled God’s plan for him on earth, but let Justin’s life be an example to us all, “Love,” daily and unconditional.  Love all of you, Anita

To be Justin's Sunday School teacher when he was about 5, one had to be on their toes. Ready for whatever and discuss everything from our Sunday School lessons to whatever crossed his mind. One particular Sunday our lesson was on parables and how Jesus used them to teach his followers. Having read and re-read the lesson several times over the course of a week I found the author had not mentioned explaining to the children what a parables was so I thought that's my starting point. I began the lesson by doing just that. I could see Justin was listening so intently. In my mind I thought "yes, they're getting it and I'm doing a good job!" I was feeling pretty good about this lesson and the job I was doing but leave it to my sweet Justin to bring me back to reality. Once I was through speaking and I asked if any of the children had any questions; he quickly said "Mrs Pat I sure do". Well okay Justin what is your question? "Well just how many horns does that parable have!" I closed my boots and said now will do some art!" 
This memory is so vivid to me. Justin was naturally funny and kept you on your toes. 
I will dearly miss this young man and I grieve for his parents. 

I remember the story of the tatoo that almost got the tatoo parlor shut down. This was shortly after his accident years ago, and he said,"Mary Sue gonna try shut them down"!  Then , at Machelle's visitation I hugged Coy and said I have loved this kid all his life, I did not quickly recognize Justin with the long hair he said , " what about me"?Oh, he received  a hug as well!! Love you and I am so sorry..
