

Paul Davis Kennedy, 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his daughter’s home. He was born January 16, 1932 to James and Eula Mayo Kennedy. He was retired from the USDA, a USARMY Veteran of Korea, and a member of Midway Free Will Baptist Church. Member of the Tri-State Coin and Relic Hunters Club, he loved medal detecting for Civil War relics, and was a member of United Campers Club of Brown Shoe.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 20, 2016 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Garry Kennedy, Bro. Danny Short, and Joseph Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Little Brown Cemetery.
He is survived by three daughters, Paula Clack of New Site, Barbara (Phil) Moore of Marietta, and Kathy (Billy) Barnes of Altitude; two sons, Ronnie (Tammy) Kennedy and Mark (Christine) Kennedy both of Booneville; and nine grandchildren, Aubrey (Mark) Morelock, Matthew Clack, Chris Moore, Kellie (Jeremy) Crabb, LaCrisha (Scott) Sample, Geoffrey (Ashley) Kennedy, Nathaniel (Jessica) Kennedy, Christian Horton, and Joseph Kennedy; and twenty-two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Provins Kennedy; one brother, Ralph Kennedy; and one great granddaughter, Karleigh Clack.
Visitation will be 5-8pm on Thursday, May 19, 2016 and until service time on Friday at McMillan Funeral Home.
