Roberta Hall

Roberta White Hall, 95, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at her home. She was born October 20, 1920, to Olen and Dora Strickland White. She was a member of New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church for 58 years, Holcult Museum, Cairo-Holcult Garden Club and Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 20, 2016, at New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Jack Whitley, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in New Lebanon Cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Majel (Galen) Nichols, Magdelene (Earl) Spradlin and Maeline Hall; one son, Buddy (Vaughanda) Hall; six grandchildren, Mark (Holley) Nichols, Ben Nichols, Craig (Vickey) Hall, Stacey (Philip) Raper, Brad (Rachel) Downs and Chris (Jennifer) Downs; and 13 great-grandchildren, Brittany McCalla, Dylan McCalla, Madison McCalla, Ryan Perich, Madi Raper, Paige Hall, Ethan Hall, Avery Hall, Jansyn Downs, Caden Downs, Hunter Downs, Chase Downs and Andy Nichols.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Hall in 1995; her parents; one sister, Geraldine Isbell; and two brothers, Avis “Bob” White and Doyle White.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church.

Services are under the direction of McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville.
