Sybil Boren

Sybil Stennett Boren, 94, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at her son’s home in Booneville. She was born August 19, 1921, to Leonard and Irene Bullard Stennett. She was a retired seamstress, and a member of West Booneville Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking , sewing and gardening.

Celebration of Life at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 13, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Tony Brown and Mr. Steve Glenn officiating. Burial will be in Zion Rest Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Jane Foster; one son, Ronnie (Janet) Boren; seven grandchildren, Tammy (Bill) Hill, Tim Brasel, Pat Short (Hester McCarley), Jeanne (Martin) Zamora, Matthew Boren, Riley Boren and David Boren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vardaman Boren in 1990; one daughter, Carolyn Stephens; her parents; two sisters, Clynese Gray and Louise Scott; and one granddaughter, Vicki Aldridge.

Pallbearers are Eddie Gray, Ken Gray, Gerald Gray, Jackie Scott and James Austin Stennett.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
