Virginia Carrol Lauderdale

Virginia Carrol Lauderdale, 84, of Jumpertown, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born on February 20, 1941, to Robert and Ruby Alexander. Virginia was a member of Jumpertown First Baptist Church. She was a fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at McMillan Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, with Bro. Trey Lambert officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bucksnort Cemetery.

Virginia is survived by her son, Danny O’Neal; her two daughters, Patricia Ann Napoleon (Alex) and Vickey Compobasso (Michael); her grandchildren, Kenny, Rose, Jennifer, Alexis, Joann, Brenda Lee, Robert, and Kristina; several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William Buford O’Neal; her second husband, Wayne Lauderdale; her son, Ronald Alexander; her brother, Donald Alexander; and her sisters, Lois Wood and Theresa Alexander.
