Betty Mae Bishop

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Firm Foundation Foursquare Church, 1000 6th St, Boonville, MO. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Mel Eaton officiating. Burial will be in West Boonville Evangelical Cemetery, Boonville, MO.

Betty was born on June 17, 1941 in Columbia, MO the daughter of Robert and Ada Bell (Burge) Williams who preceded her in death. She was married on August 1, 1959 in Boonville, MO to Frank Bishop, Sr. who preceded her in death on August 26, 1998. Betty was a waitress for several years in Boonville, MO, serving at Big Johns Restaurant and Stephanie’s Steakhouse. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and watching Wheel of Fortune.

Survivors include: one daughter, Debra Kruger and husband Steven of Marshall, MO; one son, Frank Bishop, Jr. and wife Marcia of Slater, MO; one brother, Charles (CT) Williams of Sedalia, MO; four grandchildren, Diana Knight, Angel Grandstaff, David Bishop and Daniel Bishop; and five great-grandchildren, Gracie Knight, Tracie Knight, Loyal David Grandstaff, Tiffany Grandstaff and Jordan Benoit. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Williams.
