Jeanne Lynn Vaughn

at her home in Boonville surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life will be

Jeanne was born, December 21, 1959, in Fayette, MO to Jesse Sr. and Nancy

Kempf Bishop. In 1978, she graduated from New Franklin High School. After

graduating, she worked for Toastmaster and the Boonville Correctional Facility in

administration. As her daughter entered middle school, Jeanne decided to enroll in

college. She would earn two master’s degrees from Columbia College in Business

Administration and Criminal Justice. She worked for Unlimited Opportunities and as a

probation and parole officer for 16+ years. When she was not working, she enjoyed

camping and spending time on the beach at Panama City. She also enjoyed sitting on

her porch and family get-togethers.

She is survived by her daughter, Tabetha Laurence (Aaron) of Boonville; siblings, Everett

Glenn Bishop of Boonville, Jesse Glenn Bishop, Sr. (Jolene) of Hollister, CA, and Jeff

Andrew Bishop (Cindy) of Poplar Bluff; a sister-in-law, Gladys Bishop Blackmore; her

beloved cat, Shadow, many nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded

in death by Tabetha’s father, Carroll Laurence, a brother, Adam Dean Bishop, and her

parents.
