Alfred "Freddie" Mestone, age 94, of Boston, Massachusetts passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Josephine E. Mestone, devoted father of Richard and his wife Josephine of Peabody, Debra Mestone of Boston and Gary and his wife Gina of Woburn. Loving grandfather of Cassandra, Samantha, Nicholas, Stephanie and Joseph. Great grandfather to Michael, Cameron, Gianna and Lucas. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the J.S. Waterman Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial Street, Boston, MA 02109, on Tuesday, January 24th, 2023 from 8:00 am to 9:40 am (complimentary valet parking will be available). All are invited to join the family for a mass of Christian burial in St. Leonard's Church, 320 Hanover St. Boston, MA 02113, on Tuesday, January 24th, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 175 Broadway, Malden, MA 02148. In Lieu of flowers please donate to St. Leonard's Church 150th Building the Future Fund.
