Cherished daughter of the late Rachele (Alloia) and Sabato Vardaro and Stepdaughter of Antonetta Vardaro. Beloved wife of Giovanni LaVita of Medford. Loving mother of Rachel LaVita of Meford, Nancy Marraccino and her husband Frank of Saugus, and Ralph LaVita and his wife Maria of Saugus. Cherished grandmother of Giuseppe, Rosaria and Giovanni Marraccino. Caring sister of Antony Vardaro of Malden, Maria Carpinito of Medford, Sarafina Straccia of Italy, Gennaro Vardaro of NY, John Vardaro of Weymouth and the late Francesco Vardaro and Carmela Gregorio. Loving stepsister of Joe Vardaro of Rochester and Joanna Dellaporta of Saugus. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral from the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St, Boston, on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 9:45AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Leonard Church, corner of Hanover & Prince Streets at 10:45AM. Family will be accepting visitors on Monday from 4-8PM. Entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, MA.
