

On April 15, 2020, German Y Lam, 91 years old, passed away peacefully at the Quincy Nursing home with Lang, his wife of 74 years by his side. He was survived by his wife, Lang, and is survived by his children, German (Joanna) and Margarita (Michael), and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Steven, and Matthew. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He lived a long and amazing life from China, Chile, to the United States. He was dedicated to his family and worked hard and long and had many careers in his life ranging from entrepreneur, Chinese chef, and butcher. He was an avid gardener, loved to travel, write Chinese calligraphy, and volunteered for years at the Chinese Civic Association.
The day after German Y passed, his wife of 74 years, Lang Lam, 90 years old, passed away peacefully at the Quincy Nursing home on April 17, 2020. She is survived by her children, German (Joanna) and Margarita (Michael), and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Steven, and Matthew. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and grandmother. She too lived a long and amazing life from China, Chile, to the United States. She was dedicated to her family and worked hard and long and had many careers in her life ranging from seamstress, leather goods assembler, and medical supplies assembler. She loved to watch Chinese movies, go shopping with her daughter, loved to cook, and loved spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids.
