Maria Coppola. Age 83, died December 19th, 2021 in Boston. She was born in San Sossio Baronia in Southern Italy and emigrated with her family to Boston in 1972. Exemplary wife and mother, dearly devoted to her family. She is survived by her husband Gerardo “Jerry”, her sons Antonio, Salvatore with his wife Maurizia, Luciano and his wife Sherry, five granddaughters and one grandson. She was predeceased by her daughter Lucia and her son Nicola, both of whom passed before the age of two. She will be missed by her Family and Friends as a great human being. She has always believed in the most essential values of life: altruism, compassion and unconditional love. She leaves behind a legacy of love and caring for the others. She has led by example loving the simple things of life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 28, 2021 at 10am in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St., Boston, MA 02113. Services will conclude with interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
