Sui Lun (Chan) Quan, 94, of Brighton, passed away September 24, 2025 after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Wen Num Chan and Toy Har Gee. Sui emigrated to the United States with her late husband, Chuck Quan, of 36 years Sui was the mother of , William, Nellie, Susie and Thomas. She raised her children with love and devotion first, in Lowell, then in Brighton with Chuck. As a seamstress, Sui was known for her meticulous workmanship and camaraderie with her fellow workers. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, reading and watching the Celtics. Sui was most proud of her vegetable garden.
Sui is survived by her 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Aside from the children she doted on, Sui is survived by her 2 daughters, Nellie Campbell of Bridgewater, Susie Noack of McLean, VA, daughter-in-law, Betty Lee of Hayward, CA and sister, Sue Ann Lee of Wahington DC.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 9am to 11am in J.S. Waterman Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., Boston. Services will conclude with interment in Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave., Boston.
