A Cape Cod resident for many years, Carl was born & raised in Hyde Park, MA. He was a lifelong car salesman & sales manager employed by Jack Madden Ford, Hyannis Saab, & Cape Cod Chrysler.
But his true passion was golf. Carl started as a caddy at the George Wright Golf Course in Hyde Park where he fell in love with the game. He was a “scratch” golfer and at one time considered joining the pro circuit.
Carl is survived by his sister Gertrude “Honey” Fell of Abington, MA, his daughter Dianne Olson of Buzzards Bay, MA, his son Christopher Olson of Gig Harbor, WA, his son Gregory Olson of Milton, MA, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday June 12, at 11:00 a.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA. Burial will be private.
