Cheryl Ann Pickard

She was born Cheryl Ann Hay, on December 9, 1948 in Beverly, the daughter of Robert and Joan (Morphew) Hay. She grew up in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School in 1966. She then attended Northeastern University where she received her degree as a Radiology Technician. She was a resident of Beverly until moving to Bourne 10 years ago to be close to family.

Cheryl enjoyed gardening, golfing, walking the canal and going to the beach. She especially cherished the time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandson.

Preceding her in death was her father, Robert Hay.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Joan Hay of Beverly, her daughter Lori Hough and husband Kevin of Bourne, her grandson Griffin Hough and two sisters Diane Hubbard and husband Danny of Beverly, and Debra Vallee of Derry, NH. Also surviving her are a niece Erin Bonwell and husband Mike, and two nephews Matthew Hubbard and wife Jean, and Tyler Fossiano.

Friends may share respects with the family at a visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 o’clock PM, on Friday January 23, at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home in Bourne.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Buzzard’s Bay on Saturday January 24, at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Cheryl’s name to the Bourne Friends Food Pantry, P.O. BOX 144, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532.
