Cristina Maria Moretti

She was born Cristina Maria Moretti on March 3, 1968 in Worcester, the daughter of late Dr. Mario Moretti, Joanne (Berkiel) DiVagno. She grew up in W. Yarmouth and graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth High School in the class of 1986.

Cristina’s greatest joy in life was being a mother. If you ever spoke to her, you know how extremely proud she was and how she could never stop talking about her three boys and all their achievements.

Cristina loved to be outdoors; working in her garden, going to the beach, and having her feet in the sand. She enjoyed crafting and home improvement projects, especially painting.

Preceding her in death is her brother Carlo Moretti.

Surviving family members are her mother Joanne DiVagno and her late husband Albert of Ocala, FL, her sons Michael Raymond of Palm Harbor, FL, Chris Raymond and his fiancée Amanda Ricci of Bridgewater, MA and Robert Raymond of Boston. Also surviving are her sisters; Gina Moretti-MacConnell and her husband Daniel of Worcester, Donna Bishop and her husband Buddy of W. Yarmouth, Dina Moretti-Trapasso and her husband Larry of Worcester, MA, Maria Palino and her husband Frank of Lanoka Harbor, NJ and Terri Moretti-Alliegro and her husband James of Sedona, AZ. Cristina is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours with the family will be Friday, February 19, from 3:00PM to 7:00PM, at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Rte. 6A, Sandwich, MA 02563. Cremation will follow.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made in honor of Cristina to Melanoma Clinical Research, Mass. General Hospital, 55 Fruit Street, Boston, MA 02114
