He was born in Boston on November 2, 1965. His parents Hugh G. Watts and Linton Watts took him home to Brookline where he grew up with his two sisters. Ken graduated from Roman High School in Philadelphia, where he made the National Honor Society. He studied for two years at the University of Syracuse before choosing a different path and permanently locating in the Boston area.
In his work Ken spent a number of years delivering food to restaurants, and he was welcomed by friends at every stop at many of the restaurants in Cambridge MA. He was a certified automotive audio engineer. He later became an orthotics technician, skilled at making braces for injured and handicapped children and adults.
Ken was an avid audiophile and spent many hours in his online community sharing files and stories. He was a talented gardener and at one point had a room filled with bonsai trees. He loved animals and was very proud of a prothesis he made for an elephant that had a leg lost to a land mine. He was also an enthusiastic cyclist and bicycle repair technician. His warmth and kindness are sorely missed.
Ken is survived by his father , mother and two sisters Stephanie & Lesley and step-mother Sharon DeMuth.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to The Home for Little Wanderers (www.thehome.org).
