
30, 2020 in the loving care of the Royal Nursing community in Falmouth. She was the wife of the late Ronald E. Forsberg. She was born on June 23, 1937 to the late Ernest and Marjorie ( Lyon) King.
After her graduation from Braintree High School, Lorraine began her career as a dental assistant. She
met Ronny at Parkwood Beach in Wareham and enjoyed many family gatherings at her father’s summer home in Onset. Before moving permanently to Pocasset, Ronny and Lorraine lived in Brockton. When they moved to Pocasset with their two children, Lorraine continued her career as a dental assistant. In her retirement years, she and Ronny enjoyed buying and selling antiques. She loved her grandchildren, and they valued their time with her making crafts, cooking their favorite meals, and just laughing. She also cherished spending time with her daughter and family in Texas. Her life-long passions were painting and music. She especially loved playing the piano and singing. She proudly led many sing-a-longs throughout her life. Pocasset was very special to Lorraine, and she enjoyed taking long walks on its shoreline.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter Jean Taveau and her husband Sprague of Killeen, Texas, son Paul
Forsberg and his wife Carolyn of Pocasset, grandchildren Jeanelle Wadkins, Catie Havins, Jim Decatur, Carrie Gonsalves, Brenna Frost, and Andrew Forsberg, as well as 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her loving sisters Beverly Roffo of Braintree, Janet Simpson and her husband Leonard of Braintree, and Barbara Pennell and her husband Robert of Homosassa, Florida, and brothers-in-law A.J. Antoine of Cohasset, and Bradford Forsberg of Sarasota, FL . She was also the sister of her late siblings Warren King, Robert King, Marilyn Allen, and Marjorie Antoine.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Friends of Bourne
