Nancy G. Baxley

Nancy was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated from Central High School in Charlotte and Brenau College in Gainesville, GA, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Nancy majored in music. She was a classical pianist and taught both music and kindergarten while raising her three sons. She loved her family, music, all babies, collecting shells and accompanying her husband’s tenor voice on the piano. She was a Southern lady and a debutante.

She is survived by three sons, Grover G. Baxley of Cataumet, MA, Ralph G. Baxley of Apple Valley, MN and Richard C. Baxley of Higganum, CT as well as nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services are private. Donations in her memory may be made to the Residents’ Council, Royal Megansett Nursing Home, 209 County Road, North Falmouth, MA 02556.
